Studio Policies

By booking with JINDHAMMA, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the studio policies outlined below.

 

1) Appointments & Communication

Appointment Only

  • All work is by appointment only. Walk-ins are not available.

 

Response Time

  • Please allow 1–3 business days for replies, excluding weekends and holidays.

 

Confirmation

  • An appointment is considered confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from me.

 

2) Deposits

Deposit Requirement

  • A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment date and time.

 

Deposit Use

  • Your deposit is applied toward the final price of your tattoo on the day of your appointment.

 

Non-Refundable Policy

  • Deposits reserve your scheduled time and cover preparation work, including planning, design time, and communication.

  • All deposits are non-refundable once an appointment is confirmed.

 

Policy Enforcement

  • If an appointment is not completed in accordance with these policies, the deposit will be forfeited (see Rescheduling & No-Shows).

 

Multiple Sessions

  • For multi-session projects, a new deposit may be required for each session, as outlined in your booking confirmation.

 

3) Rescheduling & No-Shows

Client Rescheduling

  • One rescheduling request may be considered with sufficient notice and is subject to availability.

  • When approved, your deposit may transfer to one new date only.

 

Late Reschedule

  • If sufficient notice is not provided, the appointment remains final and the deposit will be forfeited.

  • A new deposit will be required to rebook.

  • True emergencies (urgent medical issues, hospitalization, or serious family emergencies) may be considered at my discretion. Approval is not guaranteed.

 

No-Show

  • If you do not arrive and do not communicate, the appointment is considered final.

  • The deposit will be forfeited, and future bookings may require full prepayment.

 

Artist Rescheduling

  • In rare cases, I may need to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond my control. If this occurs, you will be notified as soon as possible. Your deposit will transfer to the next available date that works for you.

  • If rescheduling is not possible, a refund will be issued.

 

Illness

  • If you are sick (fever, vomiting, or contagious symptoms), please notify me as soon as possible.

 

4) Late Arrivals

Arrival Time

  • Please arrive on time. If you are running late, message me as soon as possible.

 

Grace Period

  • A 15-minute grace period may be allowed depending on the schedule.

 

Late Arrival Policy

  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late may require shortening or ending the appointment.

  • In such cases, the appointment is considered final and the deposit will be forfeited, as reserved time cannot be recovered.

 

5) Pricing, Quotes & Payment

Pricing

  • All tattoos at JINDHAMMA are priced by the piece. Pricing is based on design, size, placement, and detail.

  • Minimum price: $250

  • Final pricing is confirmed after reviewing your booking request.

 

Quotes

  • Quotes provided during the booking process are estimates.

  • Final pricing may change if the design, placement, or scope of work changes.

 

Payment Timing

  • Final payment is due at the time of your appointment unless stated otherwise.

 

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Accepted payment methods will be shared during the booking process.

  • Payment is accepted via card or approved electronic payment methods.

  • Cash payments are not accepted.

  • All payments must be completed through the approved booking system.

 

6) Design Policy (Custom Work)

Original Work

  • All JINDHAMMA tattoos are original, custom works created in my signature style.

 

Design Approval

  • Designs are finalized based on your approved direction, including theme, placement, size, and references.

 

Design Changes

  • Minor adjustments are welcome. Significant changes may require rescheduling or an additional design fee.

 

Intellectual Property

  • All custom designs remain the intellectual property of JINDHAMMA and may not be copied, traced, reproduced, or tattooed by another artist without written permission.

 

7) Age Requirement & Identification

No Minors

  • You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a tattoo. No exceptions.

 

Identification

  • A valid government-issued photo ID is required at the time of your appointment.

  • Failure to present valid identification will result in cancellation of the appointment, and the deposit will be forfeited.

 

8) Health & Safety Requirements

For safety reasons, I may decline or end an appointment if:

  • You arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs

  • You have a contagious illness

  • The skin in the tattoo area is sunburned, irritated, or compromised

  • You have not eaten, are severely dehydrated, or are not physically well enough for the session

 

Medical Disclosure

  • If you have medical conditions, allergies, are pregnant or nursing, take blood thinners, or have a history of fainting, you must disclose this before booking.

  • Medical clearance may be requested when necessary.

 

9) Preparation (Before Your Appointment)

Please:

  • Sleep well and eat a full meal

  • Stay hydrated

  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior

  • Avoid sunburn or heavy sun exposure on the tattoo area

  • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the placement area

 

Numbing Products

  • I do not tattoo over numbing creams, sprays, or anesthetic products.

  • If numbing products have been used, the appointment may need to be rescheduled and the deposit will be forfeited.

 

10) Guests & Quiet Studio Rule

Tattoo Suite Access

  • Only the client receiving services is permitted inside the tattoo suite.

  • Guests may wait in designated common areas only.

 

Quiet Environment

  • JINDHAMMA is a quiet, private studio focused on calm, focus, and safety.

  • Phone calls, loud music, and disruptive behavior are not permitted.

 

Smoking & Pets

  • No smoking or vaping (including e-cigarettes) is allowed inside the studio, near the entrance, or immediately before your appointment.

  • No pets are allowed. Service animals are welcome as required by law.

 

Policy Enforcement

  • Failure to follow studio policies may result in the appointment being ended.

  • In such cases, the appointment is considered final and the deposit will be forfeited.

 

11) Food & Drinks

To maintain a clean and safe tattoo environment:

  • No food or open drinks are allowed inside the tattoo suite

  • Small candy or chocolate may be permitted if needed (such as for low blood sugar), at the artist’s discretion

  • Only drinks with a secure, closed lid are permitted inside the tattoo suite

  • Food and drinks are otherwise welcome in designated waiting areas only.

 

Alcohol

  • Alcohol is not allowed before or during your appointment.

 

12) Photography & Recording

  • Photography and video recording are not permitted inside the tattoo suite unless explicitly approved.

  • Guests and children are not permitted to photograph or record inside the tattoo suite.

  • Identifying features are avoided unless written consent is provided.

  • JINDHAMMA may photograph completed tattoos for portfolio or promotional use.

 

13) Aftercare Responsibility

  • Aftercare instructions will be provided at the end of your appointment and must be followed for proper healing.

  • Once you leave the studio, healing becomes your responsibility.

  • Seek medical care promptly if you notice worsening redness, spreading irritation, thick discharge, strong odor, severe rash, or increasing pain.

  • For urgent medical concerns or emergencies, contact a healthcare provider or call 911.

 

14) Touch-Ups

  • One touch-up may be offered within 60 days after healing for small areas, at my discretion.

  • Touch-ups are not guaranteed for issues caused by improper aftercare, scratching, sun exposure, or natural aging.

  • Very small tattoos or extensive rework may require an additional fee.

 

15) Refund Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Tattoos are permanent. No refunds are offered for completed services.

  • Refunds are not provided for change of mind, personal preference, scheduling conflicts, or differences in healing.

  • Due to the custom and permanent nature of tattooing, all sales are final.

 

16) Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute through a bank, credit card provider, or PayPal violates studio policy.

  • Any active appointment will be immediately canceled.

  • JINDHAMMA reserves the right to decline future bookings.

 

17) Refusal of Service

I reserve the right to refuse or stop service for safety concerns, inappropriate behavior, harassment, discrimination, or requests outside my professional boundaries and artistic style.

 

18) Policy Updates

  • Studio policies may be updated at any time.

  • The most current version will be posted on this page with the updated date.
