JINDHAMMA Tattoo Studio is a private, appointment-only studio in Mill Creek, Washington, owned and operated by tattoo artist Sasin Jindhamma.

These policies are intended to create a clear, respectful, and safe experience for every client.

By confirming an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Studio Policies and the Terms of Use.

Appointments and Requests

All tattoo sessions are by appointment only. Walk-ins are not accepted.

Booking begins through the Tattoo Request Form. Submitting a request, sending a message, or discussing an idea does not guarantee acceptance or reserve an appointment.

Requests are reviewed based on:

Studio style and scope
Design direction
Placement and size
Estimated appointment time
Availability
Skin readiness
Health and safety considerations

Not every request can be accepted.

JINDHAMMA specializes in minimal black ink tattoos and does not offer color tattoos, cover-ups, or corrections of work performed by another artist.

If your request is accepted, you will receive an appointment offer with an available date and time.

An appointment is confirmed only after:

Your request has been accepted
A date and time have been arranged
Written confirmation has been provided by JINDHAMMA

Eligibility and Identification

Clients must:

Be at least 18 years old
Present valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID
Be able to understand the procedure and provide voluntary informed consent
Complete and sign the Tattoo Consent Form

Parental or guardian consent does not permit tattooing of anyone under 18.

Tattooing will not proceed without acceptable identification.

Pricing and Payment

Tattoo services begin at $200, before applicable sales tax.

Final pricing depends on the design, size, placement, complexity, scope, and estimated appointment time.

Changes to the design, size, placement, or scope may affect the price and appointment length.

The full balance is due at the end of the tattoo session. Major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Completed tattoo services are non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

Rescheduling, Cancellations, and No-Shows

Please contact JINDHAMMA as soon as possible if your plans change.

Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule.
With at least 48 hours’ notice, your appointment may be rescheduled once, subject to availability.
Additional rescheduling requests may require a new Tattoo Request Form and review.
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice may affect the acceptance of future appointment requests.

Cancellations

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Late or repeated cancellations may affect the acceptance of future appointment requests.

No-Shows

Failure to attend an appointment or provide notice is considered a no-show. A new Tattoo Request Form and review may be required before another appointment can be considered. Repeated cancellations, rescheduling, or missed appointments may affect future booking availability.

Health and Safety Exceptions

If you become ill or develop a health or skin condition that may make tattooing unsafe, contact JINDHAMMA as soon as possible.

The 48-hour notice requirement may be waived at JINDHAMMA’s discretion when a genuine health or safety concern exists.

Do not attend your appointment if you are unwell or if the tattoo area is irritated, injured, infected, sunburned, or otherwise unsuitable for tattooing.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time.

Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in a shortened session or rescheduling if the tattoo cannot be completed safely within the remaining time.

If rescheduling is required because of a late arrival, a new Tattoo Request Form and review may be required before another appointment can be considered.

Design and Revision Policy

Every JINDHAMMA tattoo is created as an original custom piece.

Only projects that align with JINDHAMMA’s minimal black ink style and professional scope will be accepted.

A reference image may be used for inspiration, but another artist’s tattoo or copyrighted artwork will not be copied directly without permission.

Custom design work begins after the request has been accepted and the appointment has been confirmed in writing.

A watermarked design preview will be provided approximately 2–3 days before the appointment.

One complimentary round of minor design adjustments is included. Any requested adjustment should be submitted as soon as possible after the preview is received.

Major appointment-day changes to the concept, size, placement, orientation, or scope cannot be accommodated.

Before tattooing begins, you are responsible for reviewing and approving the final:

Dates and numbers
Symbols
Stencil position

Custom designs created by JINDHAMMA remain the intellectual property of JINDHAMMA and may not be copied, sold, reproduced, commercially used, or tattooed by another artist without written permission.

Health, Skin Readiness, and Preparation

You must provide complete and accurate information about medical conditions, medications, allergies, sensitivities, and skin conditions that may affect tattooing or healing.

JINDHAMMA may recommend consultation with a healthcare professional when a health or safety concern exists.

Never stop, skip, reduce, or change prescribed medication for a tattoo appointment unless instructed by your prescribing healthcare professional.

Tattooing will be postponed if you:

Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a fever, contagious illness, active infection, or feel significantly unwell
Are under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or another impairing substance
Cannot provide informed consent
Have skin that is not healthy, calm, and fully intact

Tattooing cannot be performed over:

Sunburned, peeling, or tender skin
Open wounds
Active rashes or infections
Inflamed acne
Active eczema, dermatitis, or psoriasis flare-ups
Unexplained redness, swelling, or irritation

Do not consume alcohol during the 24 hours before your appointment.

Do not apply numbing cream, gel, spray, patches, or other numbing products unless the specific product has been discussed and approved in advance.

Please follow the complete Preparation instructions before your appointment.

JINDHAMMA may postpone the appointment if your health or skin condition may affect safety, tattoo quality, or healing.

Consent and Appointment-Day Approval

Before tattooing begins, you must:

Present valid identification
Confirm that your submitted health information is current
Review and approve the final design
Approve the stencil placement and orientation
Review and sign the Tattoo Consent Form

The Tattoo Consent Form explains the permanence and inherent risks of tattooing, aftercare responsibilities, photography preferences, and final consent to receive the procedure.

Signing the Consent Form does not waive any right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Studio Environment and Conduct

JINDHAMMA is a quiet, private space designed for focused work.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted.
Harassing, threatening, disruptive, or unsafe behavior is not permitted.
Filming or recording during the session requires prior approval.
Pets are not permitted, except service animals as required by law.
Studio and building instructions must be followed at all times.

JINDHAMMA may end an appointment if client or guest conduct creates an unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate environment.

Guests

One guest may accompany you to your appointment.

While tattooing is in progress, your guest must remain in the waiting area immediately outside the tattoo room unless otherwise permitted.

A service animal is not considered a guest.

Accessibility

Please contact JINDHAMMA if an accessibility accommodation would help you access the studio or prepare for your appointment.

Reasonable accommodations will be provided as required by applicable law. Advance notice is appreciated when preparation or coordination may be needed.

Photography and Recording

Tattoo photography is optional and will not affect your eligibility for tattoo services.

Your preference will be selected separately on the Tattoo Consent Form:

Yes — Portfolio and promotional use
Yes — Private studio records only
No photography

Photographs will not be used publicly without your permission.

Unless separately agreed, public images will focus on the tattoo and will not intentionally include your name, face, or other identifying details.

Aftercare and Healing

Complete Aftercare instructions will be provided and made available to you.

You are responsible for following the instructions and contacting JINDHAMMA with non-medical questions during healing.

Healing varies between individuals. Skin characteristics, placement, lifestyle, sun exposure, friction, and aftercare may affect the healed appearance. An identical healing result cannot be guaranteed.

If you experience signs of infection, a serious allergic reaction, or another medical concern, promptly contact a qualified healthcare professional.

JINDHAMMA does not diagnose medical conditions or provide medical treatment. Do not delay medical care while waiting for a response from the studio.

Complimentary Touch-Ups

One complimentary touch-up may be considered per tattoo when minor refinement is appropriate.

The tattoo must be fully healed before evaluation, typically 6–8 weeks after the original appointment.
The Touch-Up Form must be submitted within 8 weeks of the original appointment.
If additional healing time is needed, eligibility will remain in place as long as the form was submitted within the 8-week period.

A complimentary touch-up may include:

Reinforcing small areas of healed linework
Restoring minor ink loss
Refining minor inconsistencies resulting from normal healing

It does not include:

Design changes
New elements
Expansions
Redesigns
Work outside the original tattoo
Tattoos altered by another artist

A complimentary touch-up may be declined if:

Aftercare instructions were not followed
The tattoo was affected by avoidable damage
The request was submitted after 8 weeks
The requested work falls outside the original design

Additional or non-eligible work may require a new appointment and standard service fees.

Final eligibility is determined after the healed tattoo has been evaluated. Not every tattoo requires a touch-up.

Right to Decline, Stop, or Postpone Service

JINDHAMMA may decline, stop, or postpone a request or appointment when reasonably necessary because of:

Age, identification, or consent concerns
Health or safety concerns
Skin that is not ready for tattooing
Intoxication or impairment
A request outside the studio’s style or professional scope
Significant appointment-day changes
Incomplete, inaccurate, or withheld information
Harassing, threatening, disruptive, or unsafe conduct
Failure to follow reasonable studio, health, or safety requirements

Decisions are based on the individual request, professional scope, actual safety considerations, and applicable law—not on unlawful discrimination.

Privacy and Consumer Health Data

Personal information is handled according to JINDHAMMA’s Privacy Policy.

Consumer health data is handled according to JINDHAMMA’s Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Acknowledging these Studio Policies does not replace any separate consent required for the collection, use, or sharing of consumer health data.
