Service Description
Every tattoo heals differently. Occasionally, a small area may heal lighter or need a subtle refinement after the skin has fully recovered. Touch-Up is a brief appointment designed to refine minor areas of a tattoo completed at JINDHAMMA. One complimentary touch-up is available, if needed, once the tattoo is fully healed—typically 6–8 weeks after the original appointment. Before scheduling, you’ll be asked to provide a clear photo of the healed tattoo so I can review the area and confirm touch-up eligibility. Touch-ups are intended only for minor areas where the ink has healed unevenly. They do not include design changes, additions, resizing, or concerns resulting from improper aftercare, picking, excessive friction, or sun exposure. Appointment Length: Approximately 30–60 minutes Your Appointment Includes - Review of your healed tattoo - Minor refinements to eligible areas - Aftercare guidance All sessions take place in a calm, private, appointment-only studio environment. Actual appointment time may vary depending on the area requiring refinement and individual skin characteristics. A small refinement. A lasting finish.
Policy
Eligibility One complimentary touch-up may be provided per tattoo completed at JINDHAMMA, when appropriate. Eligible touch-ups are limited to minor areas of unevenly healed linework or ink loss resulting from normal healing. All work must remain within the original design. A clear photo of the healed tattoo is required before scheduling. Final eligibility is confirmed after I have evaluated the healed tattoo. Timing - Requests must be submitted within 8 weeks of the original appointment. - Tattoos are typically assessed 6–8 weeks after the appointment, once fully healed. - If the tattoo needs more time to heal, assessment and scheduling may be postponed. - Your request will remain eligible for review if submitted within the 8-week period, even if additional healing time is needed. The 8-week deadline applies to submitting your request, not completing the touch-up appointment. What Is Included Minor refinements of the original tattoo, such as: - Reinforcing small areas of healed linework - Restoring small areas of ink loss - Refining minor inconsistencies resulting from normal healing What Is Not Included - Design changes or additions - Resizing or expanding the tattoo - Work beyond the original design - Work on tattoos altered or tattooed over by another artist Conditions A complimentary touch-up may be declined if: - Aftercare instructions were not followed - The tattoo was affected by excessive sun exposure, friction, picking, scratching, accidental injury, or other damage during healing - The request was submitted more than 8 weeks after the original appointment - The requested work falls outside the scope of a minor touch-up Fees One complimentary touch-up may be provided per tattoo, subject to the conditions above. Additional touch-ups or work that does not qualify may be subject to standard service fees. Any applicable fee will be discussed before scheduling. A Thoughtful Approach Healing results vary, and not every tattoo needs a touch-up. Refinements are recommended only when they would benefit the healed tattoo. Sometimes, the best touch-up is no touch-up at all.
